Information and Technology Law
As a partner at Akarpınar Law Firm, I practiced my legal profession from 2008 to 2018 in Istanbul at prestigious and institutional law firms such as Bagatur Law Firm and Özay Law Firm. Since 2018, I have been providing services to our corporate client portfolio with a support network of attorneys across various cities in Turkey.
In addition to managing litigation and enforcement proceedings in fields such as Labor Law, Commercial Law, Real Estate & Lease Law, Insurance Law, and Enforcement Law, I am actively involved in providing legal consultancy in the corporate sector, covering areas such as Contract Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Ethics & Compliance Studies.
I also provide consultancy to companies on topics such as Personal Data Protection and Cyber Crimes, and manage compliance and litigation processes in the light of my master's degree in Information and Technology Law.
As Akarpınar Law Firm, we are active members of the European Law Students' Association (ELSA). Through this program, we aim to support international law students and contribute to the professional and personal development of our team.
Having passed the mediation exam organized by the Ministry of Justice, I have also been serving as a mediator registered with the Ministry of Justice since 2023. I am dedicated to conducting both mandatory and voluntary mediation processes professionally and within the framework of essential principles.
As of 2024, I have successfully completed the training and examination processes under the Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) and obtained the TOBB UYUM National Accredited Mediator certificate. I continue to operate as an accredited mediator within the TOBB Mediation and Dispute Resolution Center.
