Specializing in industrial engineering, business administration and psychology, Dr. İbrahim İnan has over 30 years of experience in management consulting, restructuring and institutionalization. In addition to his academic career, he has worked as a senior manager in national and international companies and assumed leadership roles in various NGOs.
Born in Adana in 1964, İbrahim İnan graduated from Istanbul Kabataş Boys' High School in 1982 and completed his Business Engineering education at Istanbul Technical University in 1986.
He completed his master's degree in production management focusing on flexible production systems at Strathclyde University (Glasgow) in 1989, and received his Business Doctorate in 1993 from Çukurova University in Management and Organization department with a thesis on human power and machine power planning. During this period, he served as Education Coordinator at Çukurova Municipalities Education Union for 2 years under a World Bank project. Subsequently, he served as general trade manager at Lesaffre Turkey, a French organization, for 20 years. He managed the B2B and B2C segments in Turkey, Central Asia, and the Caucasus in bread yeast, bread additives, pastry products, and derivative products in a multinational environment. During this process, he also served as the manager of the Logistics (Warehouse and Transportation) and Bakery Research Center. He taught Human Resources Management and Organizational Change Management courses at Çukurova University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Evening Education for 6 years. In 2011, he served as general manager at CSM Bakery Supplies company for 3 years. In 2014, he decided to work in academia and management consulting and became a faculty member at Mersin Çağ University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. He served as Deputy Director of the Institute of Social Sciences, Director of Continuing Education and Research Center, and Coordinator of Incubation Center. Since 2022, he has been working as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Toros University Faculty of Engineering.
He completed his master's degree in psychology in 2018 and became an ICF Certified Professional Executive Mentor in 2020. He has been a JCI (Junior Chamber International) certified national trainer since 2006. He is an educator of the SME Level 6 Training Program since 2018. Since 2014, he has been providing efficiency consulting in the areas of "Management, Restructuring, and Institutionalization".
He is the Founder, President, and High Advisory Board Member of Çukurova Young Businessmen Association, and Senator of Young Entrepreneurs and Leaders Association. He has served as consultant to Adana Chamber of Commerce, Adana Industrialists and Businessmen Association, and Çukurova Industrialists and Businessmen Federation. He serves as the President of Digital Entrepreneurship and Development Association between 2020-2024.
